TNT to Claim Four of Basic Cable's Top 10 Summer Series, More than Any Other Network

Rizzoli & Isles, Major Crimes, Falling Skies and Perception Score Top 10 Spots with Total Viewers; Falling Skies and Rizzoli & Isles Rank among Basic Cable's Top 5 Summer Dramas with Key Demos

TNT is on track to claim four of basic cable's Top 10 original series for the summer, more than any other network. Rizzoli & Isles, Major Crimes, Falling Skies and Perception have each scored Top 10 spots among total viewers. In addition, Falling Skies and Rizzoli & Isles are set to rank among basic cable's Top 5 summer dramas with adults 18-49 and adults 25-54.

In its fourth season-to-date, TNT's Rizzoli & Isles has averaged 8.3 million viewers in Live + 7 delivery, an increase of +4% over season three. Among key adult demos, Rizzoli & Isles is drawing 2.9 million adults 25-54 in Live + 7 and 2.3 million adults 18-49.

TNT's second-season hit Major Crimes is drawing 6.8 million viewers in Live + 7 delivery. In key demos, the series is averaging 2.1 million adults 25-54 and 1.6 million adults 18-49.

TNT's epic sci-fi drama Falling Skies is averaging 5.6 million viewers in Live+7 delivery for its third season, a slight increase over last season. The show has also averaged 3.0 million adults 25-54 and 2.6 million adults 18-49.

In its second season, Perception is averaging 5.5 million viewers in Live+7 delivery, with 2.0 million adults 25-54 and 1.5 million adults 18-49 in Live + 7 delivery.

TNT's summer success with original series, as well as coverage of the NBA Playoffs and NASCAR, have driven it to rank as basic cable's #1 network in total day delivery of adults 25-54 for the summer.

Looking ahead to the rest of the year,TNT's list of new shows includes the eagerly anticipated series event Mob City, from executive producer Frank Darabont (The Walking Dead) and starring Jon Bernthal (The Walking Dead). The powerful drama about the epic battle between Los Angeles Police Chief William Parker and mobster Mickey Cohen in post-World War II L.A. is slated to premiere Wednesday, Dec. 4. TNT's scripted series lineup for 2013 also includes the continuation of Major Crimes on Monday, Nov. 25. Three scripted series will return in early 2014, including the third season of Dallas and the continued current seasons of Rizzoli & Isles and Perception. Next summer, new seasons of TNT's hit series will be joined by the action-packed drama The Last Ship, starring Eric Dane (Grey's Anatomy) and executive-produced by Michael Bay (Transformers), and Legends, starring Sean Bean (Game of Thrones, Lord of the Rings) and executive-produced by Howard Gordon (Homeland, 24).

On the unscripted series front, TNT will launch Cold Justice, from executive producer Dick Wolf, on Tuesday, Sept. 3. TNT's acclaimed police series Boston's Finest will launch its second season on Tuesday, Nov. 26, alongside the premiere of TNT's new unscripted drama Marshal Law: Texas, from executive producer Jerry Bruckheimer.
