"The Michael J. Fox Show" Improves on NBC's Slot Average During the 2012-13 Season by 31%
NBC spins the numbers for Thursday, September 26.

"The Michael J. Fox Show" (2.1/6 from 9-10 p.m.) improved on NBC's slot average during the 2012-13 season by 31% (2.1 vs. 1.6) and by 116% in total viewers (7.282 million vs. 3.365 million).

"The Michael J. Fox Show" (2.1/6 from 9-10 p.m.) is up 11% versus NBC's year-ago rating on premiere-week Thursday (2.1 vs. 1.8) and up 96% in total viewers (7.282 million vs. 3.748 million).

From half-hour to half-hour, "The Michael J. Fox Show" maintained its full 18-49 rating (2.1 vs. 2.1) and grew 2% in total viewers (7.347 million vs. 7.217 million).

In total viewers, NBC is up 45% (5.3 million vs. 3.6 million)

At 10 p.m., the fifth season debut of "Parenthood" (1.6/5 in 18-49, 5.2 million viewers overall) doubled NBC's premiere-week result in this slot last year (1.6 vs. 0.8 for "Rock Center") and is up 65% in total viewers (5.2 million vs. 3.1 million).

Versus NBC's averages in the slot last season, "Parenthood" is up 60% in 18-49 rating (1.6 vs. 1.0, L+SD non-sports) and up 55% in total viewers (5.166 million vs. 3.333 million).

From 8-9 p.m., "Parks and Recreation" (1.3/4 in 18-49, 3.3 million viewers overall) ranked #2 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in men 18-34 and tied for #2 in men 18-49.

NOTE: ABC's first hour of primetime may be inflated by local NFL coverage in San Francisco. CW carried the Rams-49ers game in St. Louis.
