Monday's Broadcast Ratings: FOX, World Series Snap NBC's Monday Win Streak

Here are the highlights of the 12 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (10/28/13):

FOX (13.186 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 3.8, #T1) slipped into the top spot on Monday with its coverage of the "World Series, Game 5" (13.186 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 3.8, #2).

NBC (12.198 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 3.8, #T1) however split the demo crown thanks to originals from "The Voice" (12.968 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 4.2, #1) and "The Blacklist" (10.657 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 3.1, #3).

Next up was CBS (6.615 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 2.1, #3) and its mix of "How I Met Your Mother" (7.632 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 2.9, #4), "2 Broke Girls" (7.602 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 2.6, #5), a repeat "The Big Bang Theory" (7.936 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 2.5, #6), "Mom" (6.613 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 2.1, #T7) and "Hostages" (4.953 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.3, #10).

Meanwhile, ABC (12.207 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.0, #4) served up new episodes of "Dancing with the Stars" (12.972 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.0, #9) and "Castle" (10.678 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 2.1, #T7).

And finally, fresh installments of "Hart of Dixie" (1.133 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.4, #11) and "Beauty and the Beast" (0.867 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.3, #12) on The CW (0.999 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.4, #5) closed out the night. In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), "Dixie" delivered a 0.5 rating while "Beast" posted a 0.4 rating.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 1.0/5; "Late Show," 0.5/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.5/6 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.0/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.9/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

NBC (11.36 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 4.4, #1) was the top draw on a Hurricane Sandy-disrupted evening with new episodes of "The Voice" (12.84 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 5.0, #1) and "Revolution" (8.39 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 3.1, #2).

ABC (13.84 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.7, #2) then was the most-watched with originals from "Dancing with the Stars" (14.78 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.7, #T3) and "Castle" (11.95 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.7, #T3).

Meanwhile, CBS (7.19 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.2, #3) offered up repeats of "How I Met Your Mother" (7.26 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 2.4, #6), "Partners" (5.54 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.8, #9), "2 Broke Girls" (7.52 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 2.5, #5) and "Mike & Molly" (6.92 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 2.2, #7) plus a "CBS News Special" (7.97 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 2.1, #8).

Next up was FOX (2.67 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.0, #4) with repeats of "The X Factor" (2.95 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.1, #10) and a second "The X Factor" (2.39 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.9, #11).

And finally, encores of "90210" (0.99 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.4, #12) and "Gossip Girl" (0.67 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.3, #13) on The CW (0.83 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.4, #5) closed out the night.
