NBC Is #1 Tuesday Night in 18-49 with the #1 Show of the Night in 18-49, "The Voice"
NBC spins the numbers for Tuesday, November 12.

Tuesday Results:

NBC is #1 Tuesday night in 18-49 with the #1 show of the night in 18-49, "The Voice," and the #1 show at 10 on ABC, CBS and NBC, "Chicago Fire." For the first time in People Meter history (dating back to 1987), NBC is #1 in 18-49 on each of the first eight Tuesdays of the season among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox.

· "The Biggest Loser" (1.9/5 in 18-49, 6.3 viewers overall from 8-9 p.m.) grew half-hour to half-hour in every key category -- adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers -- including a gain of 6% in adults 18-49 (to a 1.9 from a 1.8). "The Biggest Loser" finished #2 in the hour among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 and is tied for #2 in adults 18-34.

· "The Voice" (3.4/9 in 18-49, 11.4 million viewers overall from 9-10:01 p.m. ET) is the #1 show of the night in adults 18-49 and other key measures on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox. "The Voice" led the hour among those networks in 18-49 and most other key demographics. "The Voice" is currently equaling last year's second Tuesday live telecast in 18-49 rating (3.4 vs. 3.4 from 8-9:01 p.m. on Nov. 20, 2012) and is up versus that year-ago episode in total viewers by 20% (11.406 million vs. 9.469 million)..

· In adults 18-49, "The Voice" is up 3% versus last week's prelim 3.3 from 9-11 p.m. in these fast-affiliate ratings and is matching last week's 3.4 in official nationals.

· "Chicago Fire" (2.2/6 in 18-49, 7.8 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET) aired for the first time in three weeks and grew by 5% in 18-49 rating despite the break (2.2 vs. 2.1 on Oct. 22). In total viewers, "Chicago Fire" is also up 5% versus that prior telecast (7.793 million 7.452 million), pending updates.

· "Chicago Fire" is up 38% versus its 1.6 during the same week last year when it ran at 10 p.m. on Wednesdays, and up versus last year in total viewers by 35% (7.793 million vs. 5.770 million on Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012). Note that the prior "Chicago Fire" grew by 47% in "live plus three day" ratings (see details below).

· In the time period, "Chicago Fire" is #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49 and other key demos. It's the fifth time in six telecasts this season that "Chicago Fire" has won the hour in 18-49 among those networks.

· L+3: The most recent "Chicago Fire" original Oct. 22 added 47% or 0.97 of a point to its next-day "live plus same day" 18-49 rating (to a 3.05 in L+3 from a 2.08 in L+SD) and in total viewers, added 39% or 2.882 million persons (10.334 million vs. 7.452 million). L+7: The Oct. 22 "Chicago Fire" added 59% or 1.22 rating points to its L+SD 18-49 rating (3.30 vs. 2.08).

In Late-Night Metered Markets Tuesday night:

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 2.9/8; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.6/7; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.0/5.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.9/5; "Late Show," 0.5/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.7/4.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/4 in metered-market households and a 0.5/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.5/6 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.3/5). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.9/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
