Monday's Broadcast Ratings: NBC Tops Demos with Full Night of "The Voice"

Here are the highlights of the 13 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (11/18/13):

NBC (9.508 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 3.0, #1) was still the network to beat on Monday with its "The Voice: Performance Recap" (7.561 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 2.2, #T8) special followed by a new two-hour "The Voice" (10.482 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 3.4, #1).

ABC (13.680 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.3, #T2) then was the most-watched network with fresh installments of "Dancing with the Stars" (14.510 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.3, #T5) and "Castle" (12.022 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.3, #T5).

Next up was FOX (6.848 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.3, #T2) with night two of "Almost Human" (6.629 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 2.2, #T8) alongside a new "Sleepy Hollow" (7.067 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 2.5, #4).

Meanwhile, CBS (6.592 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 2.0, #4) served up originals from "How I Met Your Mother" (8.075 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 3.1, #2), "2 Broke Girls" (7.845 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 2.7, #33), "Mike & Molly" (7.947 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 2.3, #T5), "Mom" (6.732 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.9, #10) and "Hostages" (4.476 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.0, #11).

And finally, new episodes of "Hart of Dixie" (1.037 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.4, #12) and "Beauty and the Beast" (0.698 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.3, #13) on The CW (0.867 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #5) closed out the night. In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), "Dixie" delivered a 0.6 rating while "Beast" posted a 0.4 rating.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 1.0/5; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.7/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.5/5 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.8/6 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.0/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.7/5 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/2).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 1.0/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/4 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.


Here are the highlights of the 13 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks one year ago (11/19/12):

NBC (9.38 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 3.3, #1) was the top demo draw for the 10th straight Monday thanks to new episodes of "The Voice" (10.54 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 3.7, #1) - its season low for a Monday telecast - and "Revolution" (7.04 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 2.6, #5) - tied as its lowest rating to date.

CBS (8.47 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.6, #2) then took home the silver with its mix of "How I Met Your Mother" (7.87 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 3.0, #3), a repeat of "Two and a Half Men" (6.37 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 2.1, #8), "2 Broke Girls" (9.74 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 3.4, #2), "Mike & Molly" (9.24 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 2.9, #4) and "Hawaii Five-0" (8.80 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 2.2, #7).

Next up was ABC (12.88 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.2, #3) with originals from "Dancing with the Stars" (14.08 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.3, #6) and "Castle" (10.48 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.0, #T9).

Meanwhile, FOX (5.13 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.4, #4) offered up new episodes of "Bones" (7.12 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 2.0, #T9) and the struggling "The Mob Doctor" (3.13 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.9, #11).

And finally, fresh installments of "90210" (0.78 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.4, #12) and "Gossip Girl" (0.70 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.3, #13) closed out the evening over on The CW (0.74 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.4, #5). In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), "90210" delivered a 0.5 rating while "Gossip Girl" posted a 0.6 rating.
