"Grimm" Delivers Its Second Largest Audience Ever in Total Viewers
NBC spins the numbers for Friday, December 6.

Friday Primetime Results:

NBC tied for #1 Friday night among the Big 4 in 18-49, its first share of the Friday lead in six weeks (since Oct. 25), with:

· "Dateline NBC" up 17% week to week (to a 1.4 from a 1.2) to a season high.

· "Grimm" up 23% week to week (1.6 vs. 1.3).

· "Dracula" up 22% week to week (1.1 vs. 0.9

It's the sixth night in a row NBC has finished #1 or tied for #1 in 18-49 among the Big 4, the first time in 11 years, since June 2002, that NBC has held a share of first place for six nights in a row (since June 2-7, 2002).

· "Dateline NBC" (1.4/5 in 18-49, 7.3 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) reported its top 18-49 rating for a Friday edition since Sept. 13 (1.4) and matched its best since Jan. 4 (1.5). In adults 25-54, it was the strongest "Dateline" (2.0) since Sept. 27.

· In total viewers, it was the top Friday "Dateline" in more than two and a half years (since March 25, 2011, 8.150 million). "Dateline" won the hour among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in total viewers and was tied for #2 in adults 25-54, just a tenth of a point out of #1 among those networks.

· "Grimm" (1.6/5 in 18-49, 6.4 million viewers overall at 9 p.m. ET) matched its highest rating since the show's season premiere captured a 1.8/6 on Oct. 25. "Grimm" ranked #2 in the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49, total viewers and all other key measures.

· In total viewers, it's the #2 "Grimm" ever, highest since the series premiere did 6.557 million on Oct. 28, 2011.

· L+7 Time-Shifting: The Nov. 15 "Grimm" grew by 69% or 1.07 rating points in 18-49 going from these next-day L+SD ratings to L+7 (from a 1.56 to a 2.63).

· "Dracula" (1.1/3 in 18-49, 3.8 million viewers overall at 10 p.m. ET) delivered its highest rating since the show's second episode Nov. 1 (1.3). In the time period, "Dracula" is tied for #1 among the Big 4 nets in adults 18-49, women 18-49 and men 18-34 and is #1 outright in adults 18-34 and women 18-34.

· In total viewers, it's the top "Dracula" since the series premiere on Oct. 25 (5.261 million).

· L+7 Time-Shifting: The Nov. 15 "Dracula" grew by 79% or 0.74 of a rating point in 18-49 going from these next-day L+SD ratings to L+7 (from a 0.94 to a 1.68).

In Late-Night Metered Markets Friday night:

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 2.4/6 with an encore telecast; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.1/5 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.2/6.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.6/3 with an encore; "Late Show," 0.5/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.8/4.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.4/4 in metered-market households and a 0.5/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.3/4 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's first-run "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.1/3). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
