"Hollywood Game Night" Tops Last July's Series Premiere by 10% to Set a New Series Record in Total Viewers
NBC spins the numbers for Monday, January 20.

Monday Results:

· From 8-9 p.m. ET, the regular season premiere of "Hollywood Game Night" (1.3/4 in 18-49, 4.7 million viewers overall) jumped 30% in 18-49 and 36% or 1.3 million persons in total viewers versus a Christmas special that ran from 10-11 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 23 (1.0/3 in 18-49, 3.459 million viewers overall). The 8 p.m. "Hollywood Game Night" finished within a tenth of a point of the show's July 11, 2013 series premiere in 18-49 (1.3 vs. 1.4) to tie the #2 "HGN" rating heading into last night.

· In total viewers, the 8 p.m. "Hollywood Game Night" topped last July's series premiere (4.285 million) by 10% to set a new series record in total viewers.

· From 9-10 p.m. ET, a second edition of "Hollywood Game Night" (1.5/4 in 18-49, 4.2 million viewers overall) built on its lead-in by 15% in 18-49 rating to set a new series record in primetime's key demographic. Both telecasts of "Hollywood Game Night" grew from half-hour to half-hour in 18-49, the 8 p.m. edition by 17% (to a 1.4 from a 1.2) and the 9 p.m. episode by 7% (1.5 vs. 1.4). The 8 p.m. edition grew from half-hour to half-hour in every key measure and the 9 p.m. telecast grew or held steady in every key category.

· "The Blacklist" (2.3/6 in adults 18-49, 8.7 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) ranks #1 the hour among ABC, CBS and ABC in adults 18-49, more than doubling week two of CBS's "Intelligence" (1.1/3) and topping ABC's "Castle" (2.0/6) by a 15% margin. In the time period, "The Blacklist" also ranked #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-34, adults 25-54 and other key demos. Note that "The Blacklist" is heavily time-shifted, last week growing by 60% in "live plus three day" results (see details below).

· Last night's "The Blacklist" was up 53% in 18-49 versus NBC's January 2013 average in the time period, also without a "Voice" lead-in (2.3 vs. 1.5), and was up 102% or 4.4 million persons in total viewers (8.669 million vs. 4.285 million).

· L+3 Time-Shifting: Last week's "Blacklist" grew by 60% in 18-49 rating (to a 4.08 from a 2.54) going from these next-day L+SD ratings to L+7, the third-biggest "Blacklist" percentage increase to date. In total viewers, last week's first "Blacklist" original to air without a "Voice" lead-in grew by 50% (to 13.994 million from 9.347 million), the second-biggest percentage increase to date for "Blacklist" in total viewers.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Monday night:

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 3.0/8 with an encore telecast; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.0/5 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.1/5.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.9/4 with an encore; "Late Show," 0.4/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.5/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.0/3). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
