Tops "Grey's Anatomy" in A18-49 in the Common Half Hour For the First Time Ever

"The Big Bang Theory," "The Millers" and "Elementary" All Post Week-to-Week Demo Growth

CBS Sweeps Thursday in Viewers and Key Demos

TWO AND A HALF MEN delivered its largest audience and best adult 18-49 rating since its season premiere and topped "Grey's Anatomy" in adults 18-49 in their common half-hour for the first time, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Thursday, March 6.

At 9:00 PM, TWO AND A HALF MEN was first in viewers (10.45m), adults 25-54 (3.9/10), and adults 18-49 (2.7/08). TWO AND A HALF MEN beat "Grey's Anatomy" in their common half-hour for the first time in adults 18-49 and posted the largest margins of victory in both viewers and adults 25-54. Compared to last, TWO AND A HALF MEN was up +11% in adults 25-54 (from 3.5/09), +8% in adults 18-49 (from 2.5/07) and added +420,000 viewers (from 10.03m, +4%), all best deliveries since its season premiere.

At 8:00 PM, THE BIG BANG THEORY was first in viewers (17.91m), adults 25-54 (7.0/19) and adults 18-49 (5.2/17). Compared to last week, THE BIG BANG THEORY was up +3% in adults 25-54 (from 6.8/19), +4% in adults 18-49 (from 5.0/16) and added +180,000 viewers (from 17.73m, +1%). THE BIG BANG THEORY is the night's top program in these measures.

At 8:30 PM, THE MILLERS was first in viewers (11.78m), adults 25-54 (4.2/09) and adults 18-49 (3.0/09) - beating "American Idol" by +31% in adults 25-54, +36% in adults 18-49 and by +1.68m viewers (+17%) in the common half-hour. Compared to last week, THE MILLERS was up +8% in adults 25-54 (from 3.9/10), +11% in adults 18-49 (from 2.7/08) and added +740,000 viewers (from 11.04m, +7%).

At 9:30 PM, THE CRAZY ONES was second in viewers (7.06m), adults 25-54 (2.5/06) and adults 18-49 (1.7/05).

At 10:00PM, ELEMENTARY was first in viewers (8.47m) and second in adults 25-54 (2.5/07) and adults 18-49 (1.7/05). Compared to last week, ELEMENTARY was up +6% in adults 18-49 (from 1.6/05) and even in adults 25-54.

For the night, CBS was first in households (6.6/11), viewers (10.69m), adults 25-54 (3.7/10) and adults 18-49 (2.7/08).
