BIG EAST CHAMP GAME SETS FOX SPORTS 1 RECORD; PAC-12 & NASCAR ALSO SCORE BIG

Providence's 65-58 victory over Creighton in the BIG EAST Men's Basketball Tournament Championship Game delivered 702,000 viewers on FOX Sports 1 Saturday night (3/15), making it the most-watched college basketball game on the network since launch. The Pac-12 Men's Basketball Tournament Championship Game on Saturday (3/15), which preceded the BIG EAST game and saw UCLA beat Arizona 75-71, scored 680,000 viewers, making it the second-most watched college basketball game in FOX Sports 1 history. FOX Sports 1's biggest college basketball audience coming in to last weekend was Michigan State-Georgetown on Saturday, Feb. 1 (539,000 viewers).

Bristol's rain was FOX Sports 1's gain as the extensive delays in Sunday's Sprint Cup race forced the event's conclusion from FOX to FOX Sports 1 at 7:05 PM ET. The Sprint Cup race itself averaged 3,227,000 viewers from 7:05 PM-9:30 PM ET, making it the second-most watched telecast in FOX Sports 1 history behind last month's Sprint Unlimited NASCAR event (3,526,000 viewers). FOX Sports 1 was the second most-watched network in ad supported cable in the Sunday 7:00-9:30 PM ET time period with 3,146,000 viewers behind only AMC (3,960,000). NASCAR coverage from Bristol drove the network to its fourth-most watched day from 6:00 AM-3:00 AM ET since launch with an average of 570,000 viewers.

UFC PRELIMS ON FOX SPORTS 2 SET MARK FOR NET

Saturday night's UFC 171 Prelims attracted 305,000 viewers to FOX Sports 2, a new record for the channel. The prior record was 257,000 viewers for the Arsenal-Liverpool FA Cup match on Feb. 16.

THE OFFSEASON PREMIERES TONIGHT AT 10:00 PM ET ON FOX SPORTS 1

THE OFFSEASON, produced exclusively for FOX Sports by MLB Productions, is an intimate look at four MLB superstars as they prepare for the 2014 season, and premieres tonight on FOX Sports 1 at 10:00 PM ET. From the shores of Hawaii to the beaches of Miami, some of baseball's biggest off-season stories are seen through the lens of NL Rookie of the year Jose Fernandez, All-Star slugger Prince Fielder, NL MVP Andrew McCutchen and World Series hero Shane Victorino who share their personal odysseys leading up to the new campaign. Scenes include barracuda fishing with Fernandez off Miami, high-tech training and computer analysis of McCutchen's running technique and Fielder attending his son's Jiu-Jitsu tournament.
