ABC Airs Season's Top Entertainment Series and Leads with Upscale Young Adults

Below are some updated highlights for ABC covering the 2013-14 season:

ABC defeated NBC on 9 of the 12 weeks following the Olympics.

· Season's Highest-Rated TV Series: ABC aired 7 of the Top 20 entertainment series on broadcast TV this season with Adults 18-49 (more than any other net), including 5 of the Top 10 shows and the No. 1 drama with "Grey's Anatomy:" "Modern Family" - No. 3, "Grey's" - No. 3 (No. 1 drama), "Scandal" - No. 7, "Resurrection" - No. 9, "Once Upon a Time" - No. 10, while "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." and "The Bachelor" tied at No. 16.

· Growing Returning Series and New Shows Improving Time Periods: In Adults 18-49, ABC's "Grey's Anatomy" (+4% - best season in 3 years), "Scandal" (+50% - TV's fastest growing returning show and best-ever season) and "Shark Tank" (+10% - best-ever season) were each up over their performances last season. In addition, ABC freshmen "Resurrection" (+81%), "S.H.I.E.L.D." (+72%) and "The Goldbergs" (+5%) improved their respective time periods.
