"America's Got Talent" Wins Its Time Period in Every Key Measure and Is the #1 Telecast of the Night in 18-49, Total Viewers and Other Key Categories
NBC spins the numbers for Tuesday, June 3.

Tuesday Results:

NBC won Tuesday night:

· With the #1 and #2 shows of the night in 18-49, "America's Got Talent" and "The Night Shift."

· In every key measure among the Big 4 nets- adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers.

· "America's Got Talent" (2.8/10 in 18-49, 11.2 million viewers overall from 8-10:01 p.m. ET) won the time period among the Big 4 nets in every key measure and is the #1 telecast of the night in 18-49, total viewers and other key categories.

· "America's Got Talent" finished within 0.2 of a point of last year's second episode (which was boosted by a "Voice" lead-in and ran from 9-11 p.m. on June 11, 2013, 3.0/8). "Talent" is also retaining 93% of last week's premiere 3.0, which was the #1 primetime rating on the Big 4 networks last week.

· Last night's "America's Got Talent" beat the combined 2.5 of the ABC-CBS-Fox competition -- ABC's "Extreme Weight Loss" (1.1/4), CBS's encore dramas (1.0/4) and Fox's original reality (0.4/1).

· "The Night Shift" (1.5/5 in 18-49, 7.2 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET) retained 94% of last week's premiere rating, which was NBC's top summer drama debut in five years (since "The Philanthropist," June 24, 2009). This week's "The Night Shift" won the time period among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers. "The Night Shift" is the #2 telecast of the night on the Big 4 in 18-49, behind only "America's Got Talent."

In Late-Night Metered Markets Tuesday night:

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.7/7; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.0/5; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.9/5.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.1/5; "Late Show," 0.3/1; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.3/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.0/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.9/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
