SCIENCE CHANNEL RATINGS SKYROCKET DELIVERING ITS MOST WATCHED QUARTER EVER

Science Channel Celebrates Best Second Quarter Ever Across Key Demos

(Silver Spring, Md.) -After surpassing 4 million 'likes' on Facebook this week, Science Channel announces today that it has delivered its highest rated second quarter ever for P2+ and P18-49 delivery in prime. This marks the network's 11th consecutive quarter of P2+ year-over-year prime growth. The network that dares to question everything delivers its best second quarter ever among key demos P25-54 as well as male audiences, M25-54 and M18-49.

June 2014 was a breakout month for Science Channel being one of the top five most watched months ever for the network. Leading the charge was the return of the network's critically acclaimed series THROUGH THE WORMHOLE with MORGAN FREEMAN. The daring series saw double-digit growth versus channel prime average among P25-54 and P2+ viewers through four episodes since the season five premiere at the beginning of the month.

OUTRAGEOUS ACTS OF SCIENCE continued to ignite viewers with double-digit gains among P18-49, P25-54 and Total Viewers P2+ compared to its first season. SURVIVORMAN: BIGFOOT had triple digit gains among P18-49 and double digit gains in P25-54 and P2+ during the two night special event in May. In addition, the SURVIVORMAN & SON premiere delivered in the top three demo deliveries ever among P25-54 and P2+ in the Friday 10PM timeslot.
