ABC's "Rookie Blue" and "NY Med" Grow/"NY Med" Tops Its Hour for 3rd Week Running

Rookie Blue (9-10pm - 4.9 million and 0.9/3 in AD18-49): Building on its lead-in against all-original competition at 9pm, ABC's Rookie Blue (4.9 million) took a strong second to CBS' Big Brother in Total Viewers, beating NBC's comedy debuts by 58% (Welcome to Sweden/Working the Engles = 3.1 million) and nearly doubling the audience of its drama competition on Fox (+96% - 2.5 million for Gang Related). In addition, Rookie Blue (0.9/3) beat NBC's comedy premieres by 13% among Adults 18-49 (0.8/3) and also topped Fox's Gang Related by 13% (0.8/3). The ABC drama was up 13% week to week in Adults 18-49.

NY Med (10-11pm - 5.2 million and 0.9/3 in AD18-49): Gaining on its lead-in at 10pm and building throughout its telecast, ABC's NY Med was the most-watched TV show in its hour for the 3rd week running (5.2 million), topping its original competition on NBC by 1.9 million viewers (Last Comic Standing = 3.3 million). The ABC program also led the hour with Adults 25-54. NY Med surged week to week in Total Viewers (+11%) and Adults 18-49 (+29%), equaling a season high with young adults.
