"Taxi Brooklyn" Pulls Even with "Extant" in the 10 p.m. Hour in Adults 18-49 to Tie for #1 in the Slot
NBC spins the numbers for Wednesday, August 6.

Wednesday Primetime Results:

NBC tied for #1 for the night among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 and won the night outright among those nets in total viewers.

· "Taxi Brooklyn" (1.0/3 in 18-49, 5.5 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET) pulled even with CBS's "Extant" in the 10 p.m. hour in adults 18-49 to tie for #1 in the slot among ABC, CBS and NBC. "Taxi Brooklyn" topped "Extant" to win the hour among those nets in adults 18-34 and all key adult-female demos.

· "Taxi Brooklyn" set a series high in total viewers (pending updates) and tied its series high in 18-49. Week to week, "Taxi Brooklyn" is even in 18-49 and up +4% in total viewers (5.455 million vs. 5.248 million), pending updates. Versus "Camp" in this time period on the same night last year, "Taxi Brooklyn" is up +55% or 1.9 million persons in total viewers (5.455 million vs. 3.526 million).

· "America's Got Talent" (2.0/7 in 18-49, 10.0 million viewers overall from 9-10:01 p.m. ET) finished #1 for the night in total viewers and within 0.1 of a point of #1 for the night in 18-49 (with a 2.0 rating vs. a 2.1 for CBS's "Big Brother" from 8-9).

· "America's Got Talent" won the time period by an +82% margin in 18-49 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox (2.0 vs. 1.1 for ABC and Fox) and led the slot in every key measure among those networks.

· "Talent" built on its lead-in from an 8 p.m. encore by +82% in 18-49 and +67% in total viewers.

· An encore "America's Got Talent" (1.1/4 in 18-49, 6.0 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) finished within 5% of CBS's original "Big Brother" in the time period in total viewers (6.0 million vs. 6.3 million) and beat "Big Brother" in total viewers during their second half-hour from 8:30-9 (with 6.4 million viewers vs. 6.0 million for "Brother" that half-hour). In 18-49, the 8 p.m. "Talent" encore tied Fox's original "So You Think You Can Dance" for the hour (1.1 each from 8-9 p.m.).

· The 8 p.m. "Talent" rebroadcast grew substantially from half-hour to half-hour in every key measure, including a gain of +30% in adults 18-49 (to a 1.3 rating from a 1.0).

In Late-Night Metered Markets Wednesday Night:

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.8/7; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 1.9/5 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.6/4.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.0/5; "Late Show," 0.4/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/2.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 0.9/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.3/4 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (0.9/3). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.4/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
