"Running Wild with Bear Grylls" Hits Series Highs in Its Third Week in 18-49 and Total Viewers
NBC spins the numbers for Monday, August 11.

Monday Results (note "American Ninja Warrior" was a recap episode this week):

· "Running Wild with Bear Grylls" (1.5/5 in 18-49, 4.6 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET, featuring Channing Tatum), hit series highs in its third week in 18-49 and total viewers, growing week to week by +15% in 18-49 rating (to a 1.5 from a 1.3) and +16 in total viewers (4.597 million vs. 3.969 million). "Running Wild" outdelivered each of its prior two total-viewer results for so far this summer, plus all eight episodes of "Get Out Alive with Bear Grylls" last summer.

· "Running Wild with Bear Grylls" tied for the highest-rated episode this summer of any new reality series on the Big 4 (with ABC's premiere of "Rising Star," 1.5 from 9-11 p.m. on Sunday, June 22) and delivered the highest week-three rating among the six new reality shows on the Big 4 so far this summer that have run at least three weeks.

· "Running Wild with Bear Grylls" made significant movement in the time period this week:

· Last week, "Running Wild" trailed Fox's "MasterChef" by 0.7 of a rating point (1.3 vs. 2.0), while this week, that margin was cut to 0.3 (1.5 vs. 1.8).

· Last week, "Running Wild" trailed ABC's "Bachelor Paradise" by 0.1 of a rating point in the 8-9 p.m. hour (1.3 vs. 1.4), while this week, "Running Wild" prevailed by 0.1 (1.5 vs. 1.4).

· A recap episode of "American Ninja Warrior" (1.4/4 in 18-49, 4.3 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET) won the time period in adults 18-49, adults 18-34 and other key measures among the Big 4 nets.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Monday Night:

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.9/7; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 1.9/5 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.7/4 with an encore.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.1/5; "Late Show," 0.4/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3 with an encore.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.2/4 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (0.9/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1 with an encore).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
