"Parenthood" Is Up Week to Week by 40% in 18-49 Rating to Season High
NBC spins the numbers for Thursday, November 20.

Thursday Primetime Results (Some preemptions from 8 to about 8:18 p.m. in the Eastern U.S. to cover President Obama's address on immigration.) (NBC carried NFL football in Kansas City and CBS carried the game from 8-9 p.m. PT in the San Francisco-Oakland market):

· "Parenthood" (1.5/4 in 18-49, 4.6 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) is currently up week to week by +40% in 18-49 rating (1.4 vs. 1.0) and +27% in total viewers (4.578 million vs. 3.607 million), to season highs in 18-49 and total viewers, pending updates. "Parenthood" is currently reporting its highest results in more than a year, since Oct. 3, 2013 in 18-49 (1.5) and since Sept. 26, 2013 in total viewers (5.056 million), pending updates.

· "Parenthood" is currently #2 in the slot among ABC, CBS and NBC, ahead of "Elementary," in adults, men and women 18-49; adults, men and women 18-34 and adults and women 25-54, pending updates.

· "Parenthood" will add substantial audience via time-shifting, increasing last week by +78% when L+3 time-shifted viewing was added to this next-day L+SD rating (from a 1.04 to a 1.85) and 2.1 million viewers overall (from 3.6 million to 5.7 million).

· Upscale: "Parenthood" is the #1 most upscale primetime series on the Big 4 networks in, indexing at a 166 among adults 18-49 living in homes with $100K+ incomes ("most current" L+3 results through the opening six weeks of the season, 100 represents an average concentration of those homes).

· "The Biggest Loser" (1.3/4 in 18-49, 5.1 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) is currently scoring a five-week high in 18-49, with its best rating since Oct. 16 (1.3) and matching its high since the show's season premiere on Sept. 11 (1.6), pending updates.

· In total viewers, "Biggest Loser" is currently at its biggest overall audience since the season premiere (5.4 million).

· "Bad Judge" (1.2/3 in 18-49, 4.1 million viewers overall from 9-9:30 p.m. ET) is currently delivering a five-week high in 18-49, with its best rating since Oct. 16 (1.2), pending updates. "Bad Judge" is currently up +33% week to week in 18-49 (1.2 vs. 0.9), pending updates.

· Last Night's "Bad Judge" is currently retaining 92% of its lead-in from "The Biggest Loser" in adults 18-49, its best retention since Oct. 16 (92%), and is retaining 100% in adults 18-34 (0.8 vs. 0.8) while building by +11% in women 18-34 (1.0 vs. 0.9).

· "A-to-Z" (0.9/3 in 18-49, 3.0 million viewers overall from 9:30-10 p.m. ET) is currently scoring four-week highs in 18-49 and total viewers (best since Oct. 23, 0.9 in 18-49, 3.1 million viewers overall), pending updates. "A-to-Z" is currently up week to week by +50% in 18-49 (0.9 vs. 0.6) and by +30% in total viewers (3.048 million vs. 2.350 million), pending updates.

· "A-to-Z" is retaining 75% of its lead-in from "Bad Judge" in adults 18-49 and holding 89% of its lead-in in men 18-49 (0.8 vs. 0.9), pending updates.

Last Week's L+3 Results:

· "Biggest Loser" on Nov. 13 grew by +31% in 18-49 (from a 1.16 to a four-week high 1.52) and 878,000 viewers overall (from 4.5 million to 5.4 million) going from L+SD to L+3.

· "Bad Judge" grew by +37% in 18-49 (from a 0.89 to a 1.22) and 888,000 viewers overall (from 3.7 million to 4.6 million)

· "A-to-Z" increased by +34% in 18-49 (from a 0.61 to a 0.82 and 515,000 viewers overall (from 2.4 million to 2.9 million)

· "Parenthood" grew by +78% in 18-49 (from a 1.04 to a 1.85) and 2.1 million viewers overall (from 3.6 million to 5.7 million).

In Late-Night Metered Markets Thursday Night:

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.5/6; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.0/5; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.6/7.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.9/4; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.0/5.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.7/5 in metered-market households and a 0.7/4 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.2/4 in metered-market households) tied CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.2/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
