"Constantine" Jumps 38% Week to Week in Adults 18-49 to Hit Its Highest Rating Since Its Series Debut
NBC spins the numbers for Friday, November 21.

Friday Primetime Results:

· "Constantine" (1.1/4 in 18-49, 3.5 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) jumped +38% week to week in adults 18-49 (to a 1.1 rating from a 0.8) to hit its highest rating since its series debut on Oct. 24 (1.4).

· "Constantine" retained 85% of its 18-49 lead-in from "Grimm" (1.3), up from last week's 67% (0.8 vs. 1.2) and its top retention since holding 100% with its series premiere Oct. 28.

· "Constantine" will add substantial audience via time-shifting, increasing last week by +81% when L+3 time-shifted viewing was added to this next-day L+SD rating (from a 0.84 to a 1.52).

· "Grimm" (1.3/4 in 18-49, 5.4 million viewers overall from 9-10 p.m. ET) grew week to week by +8% in both 18-49 (1.3 vs. 1.2) and total viewers (5.428 million vs. 5.014 million). "Grimm" tied as the #1 scripted show of the night in 18-49.

· "Grimm" matched its highest 18-49 rating since a 1.4 for its series debut Oct. 24. In total viewers, "Grimm" hit a season high, with its biggest overall audience since March 21 (5.711 million).

· "Grimm" will add substantial audience via time-shifting, growing last week by +70% when L+3 time-shifted viewing was added to L+SD (from a 1.16 to a 1.97).

· "Dateline NBC" (1.5/5 in 18-49, 7.7 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) equaled NBC's highest 18-49 rating in the time period, excluding sports / Olympics, in four years (since Oct. 8, 2010, 1.6, "Dateline NBC"). In total viewers, "Dateline" retained 96% of last week's 8.010 million, which was NBC's biggest non-sports / non-Olympic overall audience in the time period in nearly five years (since Dec. 11, 2009, 8.8 million, "Law & Order").

· "Dateline NBC" won the hour among the Big 4 in adults 18-49, total viewers, adults 25-54, adults 18-34 (tie) and all key adult-female demos.

Last week's L+3 Results:

· "Dateline NBC" on Nov. 14 grew by +13% in 18-49 (from a 1.47 to a 1.66) and 668,000 viewers overall (8.0 million to 8.7 million) going from L+SD to L+3, for the biggest Friday "Dateline" total-viewer result since Feb. 4, 2011.

· "Grimm" increased by +70% in 18-49 (from a 1.16 to a 1.97) and 2.2 million viewers overall (5.0 million to 7.2 million)

· "Constantine" grew by +81% in 18-49 (from a 0.84 to a 1.52) and more than 1.4 million viewers overall (3.5 million vs. 4.9 million) going from L+SD to L+3.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Friday Night:

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.8/7; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.2/5; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.2/5 with an encore.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.1/5; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.7/3 with an encore.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.5/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.4/4 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.1/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/4 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.4/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
