"Parenthood" Delivers Its Second-Most-Watched Telecast of the Season
NBC spins the numbers for Thursday, January 22.

Thursday Primetime Results (NBC affiliates carried local basketball in the Portland and Louisville markets):

· "Parenthood" (1.3/4 in 18-49, 4.4 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) is currently delivering its second-most-watched telecast of the season, behind only the 4.6 million of Jan. 8. Versus the same night last year, "Parenthood" is currently up in total viewers by +4% (4.433 million vs. 4.259 million) and even in 18-49 (1.3 vs. 1.3).

· "Parenthood" is currently up week to week by +8% in 18-49 rating (1.3 vs. 1.2)and +8% in total viewers (4.433 million vs. 4.117 million).

· In the time period, "Parenthood" is currently tied for #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC in women 18-49 (with a 1.7 rating) and is #1 outright among those nets in adults 18-34 (1.0), men 18-34 (0.8) and women 18-34 (1.3).

· "Parenthood" will add substantial audience via time-shifting, so far this season growing by an average of +82% in 18-49 rating (1.24 to 2.26) and more than 2.4 million viewers overall (4.1 million to 6.5 million) going from L+SD to L+7.

· Upscale: "Parenthood" is the #2 most upscale primetime series on the Big 4 networks, indexing at a 165 among adults 18-49 living in homes with $100K+ incomes ("most current" L+3 results, 100 represents an average concentration of those homes), behind only NBC's "Parks and Recreation" (168).

· "The Biggest Loser" (1.2/4 in 18-49, 4.6 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) is currently up week to week by +9% in 18-49 (1.2 vs. 1.1) and +10% in total viewers (4.635 million vs. 4.228 million).

· "The Biggest Loser" outrated ABC's "The Taste" in the time period from 8-9 p.m. in every key measure.

· "Bad Judge" (0.8/2 in 18-49, 3.0 million viewers overall from 9-9:30 p.m. ET) is currently delivering a week-to-week increase of +14% in 18-49 (0.8 vs. 0.7) and +12% in total viewers (3.039 million vs. 2.713 million) and is matching its top rating since Dec. 11 (1.1).

· "A-to-Z" (0.6/2 in 18-49, 2.1 million viewers overall from 9:30-10 p.m. ET) is currently generating a week-to-week gain of +20% in 18-49 (0.6 vs. 0.5)and +24% in total viewers (2.142 million vs. 1.725 million). The 0.6 rating in 18-49 matches the show's top score since Dec. 11 (0.8).

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 3.1/8; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.0/5 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.7/4.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.2/6; "Late Show," 0.4/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/2.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.2/4 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.0/3). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/2).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 with an encore in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
