"The Tonight Show" Outperforms ABC, CBS Timeslot Competition for Week of Jan. 12-16
NBC spins the late-night numbers for the week of January 12-16.

Fallon Dominates Kimmel, Letterman, Outscoring Them in All Key Ratings Categories

NEW YORK - Jan. 23, 2015 - "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" has dominated the week of Jan. 12-16, outdelivering ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" and CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman" in every key ratings category - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers.

Note that the Monday and Friday telecasts of "Kimmel" were encores and Monday's "Late Show" was excluded.

"Fallon's" 0.96 rating in adults 18-49 generated winning margins of +85% over both "Kimmel" and "Letterman" (0.52 each).

At 12:35 a.m. ET, a 0.41 rating in 18-49 for "Late Night with Seth Meyers" delivered a +41% advantage over CBS's "The Talk After Dark" (0.29). In their head-to-head half-hour from 12:30-1 a.m., "Late Night" beat ABC's "Nightline" by a +27% margin (0.47 that half-hour vs. "Nightline's" 0.37).

"Late Night" outscored "The Talk After Dark" in all key measures and also beat "Nightline" in their head-to-head half-hour from 12:30-1 a.m. ET in every key category.
