HGTV Delivers Highest Rated Wednesday Night in Its History with "Property Brothers" and "House Hunters"

HGTV DELIVERS HIGHEST RATED WEDNESDAY NIGHT IN ITS HISTORY WITH "PROPERTY BROTHERS" AND "HOUSE HUNTERS"

New York [For Immediate Release - January 30, 2015] In its second record breaking ratings performance this year, HGTV scored its highest rated Wednesday night in network history among P25-54 with a .75 rating and among W25-54 with a 1.07 rating. With premiere episodes of Property Brothers and House Hunters bolstering its prime time lineup on January 28, the network attracted more than 6.7 million total viewers. Property Brothers at 9p garnered a .85 P25-54 rating, making it the second highest rated prime episode for that series ever, while House Hunters at 10p posted its best rating since January 2010 with a 1.05 among P25-54. In fact, House Hunters was a top 10 cable program on Wednesday night.

Overall, HGTV's Wednesday night grew 39% over last year and 42% over the prior 13 week average. The solid ratings on Wednesday helped HGTV strengthen its position as a top 10 cable network with a #3 ranking for prime among P25-54 ratings and a #2 ranking for prime among W25-54 ratings.
