"Marry Me" Delivers Its Highest Rating Yet on a Night with No "Voice" Lead-In
NBC spins the numbers for Tuesday, February 3.

Tuesday Results (updated with L+3 and L+7 projections below):

· "Chicago Fire" (1.6/5 in 18-49, 6.5 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) won the 10 p.m. hour among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49 as well as women 18-49, women 25-54 and adults, men and women 18-34. "Chicago Fire'" has now ranked #1 or tied for #1 in 18-49 among the hour's ABC-CBS-NBC dramas through 11 of 13 original telecasts so far this season.

· With its first original in three weeks, "Chicago Fire" was up +7% in 18-49 versus its prior first-run on Jan. 13 (1.5).

· "Chicago Fire" will grow substantially in L+7 - "Chicago Fire" first-runs have increased by an average +57% in 18-49 rating (from a 1.95 to a 3.07) and more than 3.5 million viewers overall (7.6 million to 11.2 million) going from L+SD to L+7

· "Marry Me" (0.9/3 in 18-49, 2.3 million viewers overall from 9-9:30 p.m. ET) delivered its highest rating yet on a night with no "Voice" lead-in (highest since a 1.2 on Dec. 9).

· "Marry Me" grew week to week for a second telecast in a row in 18-49 (0.9 vs. last week's 0.8 vs. a 0.7 on Jan. 13) and grew for a third episode in a row in total viewers (2.323 million vs. last week's 2.262 million vs. 2.175 million on Jan. 13 vs. 2.061 million on Jan. 6).

· Despite a lower lead-in this week from an encore "Parks," "Marry Me" grew week to week by +13% or 0.1 of a point in 18-48 (0.9 vs.0.8) and +3% in total viewers (2.323 million vs. 2.262 million).

· "About a Boy" (1.0/3 in 18-49, 3.0 million viewers overall from 9:30-10 p.m. ET) scored its highest 18-49 rating since Dec. 2 (1.1) and biggest overall audience since Dec. 9 (3.7 million).

· "About a Boy" grew week to week by +25% or 0.2 of a point in 18-49 (1.0 vs. 0.8) and +8% in total viewers (3.028 million vs. 2.798 million). It was the third consecutive "About a Boy" to improve on the prior telecast in total viewers.

· "About a Boy" maintained or built on its 18-49 lead-in for a fourth straight telecast.

· "Parks and Recreation" (1.2/4 in 18-49, 3.6 million viewers overall from 8-8:30 p.m. ET) grew in total viewers week to week by +2% (3.566 million vs. 3.480 million) and beat the show's prior three telecasts in total viewers (topping both Jan. 27 originals and the 8:30 Jan. 20 first-run).

· Last night's "Parks and Recreation" was up +20% versus what the show was averaging at the end of last season in adults 18-49 (1.0 with its final four episodes on Thursday nights last April).

· An encore telecast of "Parks and Recreation" averaged a 0.8/2 in 18-49 and 2.0 million viewers overall from 8:30-9 p.m. ET):

· Upscale: "Parks" is this season's #3 most upscale primetime series on the Big 4 in its concentration of adults 18-49 living in homes with $100K+ incomes (with a 158 index, "most current" L+3 results, 100 represents an average concentration of those homes, behind only "Modern Family" [164] and "Parenthood" [163]).

In Late-Night Metered Markets Tuesday Night:

For a second night in a row, "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" has delivered ratings highs with special telecasts from Los Angeles.

· Last night's " Tonight Show" delivered the show's highest metered-market household result (3.6 rating, 9 share) for a Tuesday telecast in nearly a year (since Feb. 25, 2014, during Fallon's second week as host, 4.0/10).

· It was also the third highest rating ever for a Fallon-hosted Tuesday "Tonight" in metered-market households.

· In Nielsen's 25 markets with Local People Meters, last night's 1.5/7 matches the show's Tuesday high since Feb. 25 (1.7/8) and equals Fallon's third-highest Tuesday "Tonight" rating ever.

· Tuesday's guests included, Ellen DeGeneres and Neil Young, with Doc Severinsen sitting in with The Roots.

· On Monday, "Tonight" matched its highest Monday rating in metered-market households (3.1) in four months (since Sept. 29, 2014) and equaled "Tonight's" highest 18-49 rating in the markets with Local People Meters (1.3) for a Monday telecast in 10 months (since March 24, 2014).

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 3.6/9; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.5/6; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.9/5.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.5/7; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.6/6 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.1/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/2).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.9/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
