HGTV BEATS ITS RATINGS RECORDS WITH "BEST MONTH EVER" PERFORMANCE IN FEBRUARY
New York [For Immediate Release - February 25, 2015] HGTV has again shattered its own ratings records to deliver a "best month ever" performance in February. Posting a .58 primetime rating among viewers P25-54, HGTV's February 2015 ratings grew 18% versus February 2014 and unseated January 2015 as the highest rated month in the network's history. HGTV also performed well on weekends in February - growing 6% to deliver a .55 rating among viewers P25-54 on Saturday and Sunday from 7A-8P. Top performing series such as Ellen's Design Challenge, Fixer Upper and Property Brothers drove the network to record viewing levels. In fact, more than 43 million total viewers watched HGTV in primetime in February.
HGTV also continued its strong ratings performance among all cable networks in primetime in February -- achieving the #2 ranking among W25-54 and the #1 ranking among upscale W25-54. The network dominated weekend rankings for the month as well, taking the #1 spot among all cable networks for P25-54 and W25-54 ratings.
