ABC's "Fresh Off the Boat" Nearly Ties NBC's "The Voice"-Driven "Undateable" in Adults 18-49

At 8p without a Lead-in ABC's Fresh Off the Boat Essentially Ties NBC's The Voice-led Undateable at 9pm

Fresh Off the Boat (8-8:30pm - 4.9 million and 1.4/5 in AD18-49): At 8pm opposite the start of NBC's The Voice, ABC's Fresh Off the Boat returned to original after the prior week's repeat and beat Fox's Hell's Kitchen for its 3rd consecutive original telecast, leading by 1.3 million viewers (4.9 million vs. 3.6 million) and by 17% in Adults 18-49 (1.4/5 vs. 1.2/4). Despite its 8pm time period without a network lead-in, ABC's Fresh Off the Boat essentially tied NBC's The Voice-led Undateable at 9pm in Adults 18-49 (1.5/5), while outdelivering week 2 of NBC's One Big Happy at 9:30pm (1.2/4) and Fox's finale of The Mindy Project at 9:30pm (0.8/3). The ABC freshman comedy was on par with its last original in the Fast Affiliate ratings (1.4/5 vs. 1.5/5), which adjusted up 1-tenth in the Nationals.

Repeat After Me (8:30-9pm - 3.6 million and 1.0/3 in AD18-49): At 8:30pm, ABC's Repeat After Me was up slightly from its last original in Total Viewers (3.6 million vs. 3.5 million) and mostly steady in Adults 18-49 (1.0/3 vs. 1.1/4).

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (9-10pm - 4.2 million and 1.5/5 in AD18-49): Shooting up from its lead-in at 9pm (+50%), ABC's Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. took second in its hour in Adults 18-49, beating NBC's The Voice-led comedies by 15% (Undateable/One Big Happy = 1.3/4). For the 2nd week in a row, the ABC drama was #1 in its slot among key Men demos (M18-34/M18-49). S.H.I.E.L.D. was steady week to week in Adults 18-49 (1.5/5 vs. 1.6/5).

Forever (10-11pm - 4.4 million and 0.9/3 in AD18-49): At 10pm with its first original in 3 weeks, ABC's Forever returned mostly steady to beat NBC's The Night Shift in the hour among Total Viewers (+7% - 4.4 million vs. 4.1 million) and nearly tie among Adults 18-49 (0.9/3 vs. 1.0/3). The freshman drama improved Tuesday's 10pm hour for ABC from the year-ago night with original programming and, on average, season to date is boosting its slot by 70% in Adults 18-49.
