"Nightline" is #1 for the Week in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54

"Nightline" Ranks #1 in Total Viewers in 26 of Last 29 Weeks and Season to Date and #1 in the Key Adult 25-54 Demo in 3 of Last 4 Weeks

"Nightline" Only Program to Grow Week-to-Week in Both Adults 25-54 and Adults 18-49 Demos

ABC News' "Nightline" ranked No. 1 in both Total Viewers (1.549 million) and Adults 25-54 (647,000) during the week of May 4, 2015, based on Live +Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. The ABC News late night program has ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers for the 4th straight week and in 26 of the past 29. In addition, "Nightline" has ranked No. 1 in the key adult news demo for the 3rd time in the last 4 weeks.

"Nightline" was up from the previous week (607,000 and 442,000 respectively, for w/o 4/27/15) in Adults 25-54 (+7%) and Adults 18-49 (+13%). In fact, "Nightline" was the only program to grow week to week in both demos as CBS' "The Late Late Show with James Corden" (+2%/-2%) was mixed, while NBC's "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (-19%/-15%) was down by double-digits in both measures.

"Nightline's" Wednesday telecast (5/6/15) stood as the week's No. 1 telecast in both Total Viewers (1.812 million) and Adults 25-54 (822,0000), ahead of every telecast of the week of CBS' "The Late Late Show with James Corden" and NBC's "Late Night with Seth Meyers."

Season to date, ABC News' "Nightline" ranks No. 1 in Total Viewers (1.696 million), outdelivering CBS' average of "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson"/"The Late Late Show"/"The Talk - After Dark/The Late Late Show with James Corden" (+309,000) and NBC's "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (167,000). In addition, "Nightline" is up in Total Viewers (+1% - 1.696 million vs. 1.681 million) compared to the same point last season.

ABC News' "Nightline" is anchored by Dan Harris, Juju Chang and Byron Pitts. Roxanna Sherwood is executive producer, and Steven Baker is Senior Broadcast Producer. The program airs weeknights from 12:35-1:05 a.m., ET on the ABC Television Network. Together with "Jimmy Kimmel Live," "Nightline" is part of ABC's winning late night strategy of airing news and entertainment programming.
