ABC Dominates the 2015 May Sweep In Adults 18-49, Posting Its First Back-to-Back May Sweep Victories In More Than 23 Years

ABC Claims 11 of the Top 20 Series During May In Adults 18-49, with Standout Performances on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday

2015 May Sweep (4/23-5/20/15 - 28 Nights Complete L+SD)

ABC won its 2nd-consecutive May Sweep in Adults 18-49, marking its first back-to-back May victories in more than 23 years - predating the start of Nielsen's electronic database in September 1991. The Net dominated May 2015 by strong double-digit percentages in Adults 18-49 (1.7/6), beating runner-up CBS by 31% (1.3/4) and NBC by 42% (1.2/4) and Fox by 70% (1.0/3). In fact, the Net won all 4 weeks of the sweep.

· Highest-Rated Series of the Month: ABC delivered 11 of the Top 20 broadcast series during May in Adults 18-49, including the No. 1 newsmagazine, the Top 2 dramas and 3 of the Top 4 comedies: "20/20-Fri" - No. 2, "Modern Family" - No. 3, "Grey's Anatomy" - No. 4, "Scandal" - No. 7, "DWTS," "The Bachelorette" and "The Goldbergs" tied at No. 9, "black-ish" - No. 12, "The Middle" - No. 16, while "Once Upon a Time" and "Secrets and Lies" tied at No. 18. In addition, ABC's "DWTS" was May's most-watched unscripted series and the No. 2 show overall, outdrawing both installments of NBC's "The Voice" and Fox's "American Idol."

· 6 of the Top 10 Broadcasts in Adults 18-49, with "20/20: Bruce Jenner - The Interview" at No. 1: "20/20 Fri-4/24" - No. 1, "Billboard Music Awards-5/17" - No. 2, "Modern Family-4/29" and "Modern Family-5/6" tied at No. 6, "Grey's Anatomy-4/23" - No. 9 and "Modern Family-5/13" - No. 10. "20/20: Bruce Jenner - The Interview" was also the most-watched telecast overall for the month.

· Standout Performances on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday Nights: ABC ranked No. 1 on Wednesday in Adults 18-49 during the May Sweep for the first time in 15 years - since May 2000. ABC ranked No. 1 on Thursday during the month for the first time in 6 years - since May 2009. ABC scored its top-rated May Sweep Friday delivery in 9 years - since May 2006. The Net won Sunday during the May Sweep for the 11th-straight year - since May 2005.
