Celebrity Family Feud (8-9pm - 8.5 million and 2.4/10 in AD18-49): Launching over its repeat Funniest Home Videos lead-in at 8pm (+113%/+200%) against Fox's high-rated US Open Championship golf coverage, ABC's series debut of Celebrity Family Feud topped its hour and opened as Sunday's #1 TV show in Total Viewers (8.5 million) and Adults 18-49 (2.4/10). · In Adults 18-49, Celebrity Family Feud opened as TV's top summer series debut in 2 years (since CBS' Under the Dome on 6/24/13) and equaled the highest unscripted summer debut in 4 years (since NBC's The Voice Results Show on 6/22/11).

BattleBots (9-10pm - 5.4 million and 1.9/7 in AD18-49): At 9pm, ABC's debut of BattleBots was the night's #2 show and won its hour in Adults 18-49 (1.9/7). From 9-10pm, ABC's BattleBots beat NBC's season finale of A.D. by 54% in Total Viewers (5.4 million vs. 3.5 million) and more than doubling it with Adults 18-49 (+171% - 1.9/7 vs. 0.7/2).

· BattleBots was up 27% in Adults 18-49 from the year-ago Sunday 9pm debut of Rising Star (1.5/5 on 6/22/14), giving ABC its best summertime series performance in the hour in close to 7 years - since 8/24/08. In addition, trailing only Celebrity Family Feud, BattleBots tied as TV's 2nd-highest unscripted summer series debut in 3 years - since NBC's American Ninja Warrior on 5/21/12.

A note about DVR penetration: DVR penetration in the Nielsen sample is currently at 49% in U.S. TV Homes. More viewers are watching shows on their own timetables, which are increasingly not reflected in the overnight Live + Same Day numbers. As a result, the Live + 7 Day ratings are the most accurate measure to gauge the size of the TV audience.
