Tuesday's Broadcast Ratings: NBC, "Got Talent" Reclaim Top Spots

Here are the highlights of the 12 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (6/23/15):

NBC (8.942 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.2, #1) was back in front on Tuesday with new episodes of "America's Got Talent" (10.866 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.5, #1) and "I Can Do That!" (5.095 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.4, #2).

CBS (7.315 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.9, #2) then claimed the silver with repeats of "NCIS" (8.758 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T3), "NCIS: New Orleans" (7.360 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T3) and "48 Hours" (5.827 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T3).

Next up was ABC (2.472 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.7, #3) with repeats of "Fresh Off the Boat" (3.159 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T6) and "Black-ish" (2.409 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.6, #9) plus an original "Extreme Weight Loss" (2.316 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T6).

Meanwhile, FOX (2.123 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.6, #4) served up a new "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?" (2.586 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T6) and a special edition of "World's Funniest Fails" (1.661 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.5, #10).

And finally, repeats of "The Flash" (1.008 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T11) and "iZombie" (0.836 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T11) on The CW (0.922 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #5) closed out the evening. In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), the former posted a 0.2 rating while the latter delivered a 0.2 rating.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.0/5; "CBS Summer Showcase," 0.3/1 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.0/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.2/4 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (0.9/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.1/1 with an encore).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.


Here are the highlights of the 13 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks one year ago (6/24/14):

NBC (7.280 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.7, #1) was still the top draw on Tuesday thanks to a two-hour "America's Got Talent" (7.899 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.9, #1) and "The Night Shift" (6.042 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.2, #3).

ABC (3.583 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.1, #2) then claimed the silver with originals from "Extreme Weight Loss" (3.489 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T5) and "Celebrity Wife Swap" (3.769 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.3, #2).

Next up was CBS (6.814 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.9, #3) and its repeat mix of "NCIS" (8.743 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.1, #4), "NCIS: Los Angeles" (6.843 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T5) and "Person of Interest" (4.856 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T7).

Meanwhile, FOX (1.366 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.6, #4) offered up second runs of "Family Guy" (1.949 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T7), "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" (1.261 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.6, #9), another "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" (1.213 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T10) and "The Mindy Project" (1.040 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T10).

And finally, a new "Famous in 12" (0.596 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.2, #13) and a repeat of "Supernatural" (0.637 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.3, #12) closed out the night over on The CW (0.617 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.2, #5). In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), "Famous" delivered a 0.1 rating while "Supernatural" posted a 0.3 rating.
