NBC Encores Tie for the Wednesday Win Among the Big 4 in 18-49

NBC ENCORES TIE FOR THE WEDNESDAY WIN AMONG THE BIG 4 IN 18-49

Wednesday Results:

NBC's encore lineup tied for #1 for the night among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49 on a night that included two hours each of first-run programming on CBS and Fox and an original hour on ABC.

· A rebroadcast of "American Ninja Warrior" (1.2/4 in 18-49, 4.3 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET) won the time period among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49, adults 18-34, adults 25-54 and most other key demos.

· Pending updates, the "American Ninja Warrior" rebroadcast is currently up week to week for a third straight week in total viewers, currently showing a gain of +1% versus one week ago (4.334 million vs. 4.283 million), an increase of +9% versus its encore in this slot two weeks ago (4.334 million vs. 3.974 million) and a gain of +26% versus three weeks ago (4.334 million vs. 3.436 million).

· The "American Ninja Warrior" encore dominated its second hour from 10-11 p.m. versus original competition on ABC and CBS, ranking #1 among those nets in every key demo (including a tie in women 25-54 with CBS's "Extant" season premiere). The "Ninja" rebroadcast led that second hour from 10-11 p.m. by a +63% margin in adults 18-49 (1.3 vs. a 0.8 for ABC's original "Celebrity Wife Swap").

· An encore / recap telecast of "America's Got Talent" (1.1/4 in 18-49, 5.4 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) finished #2 in the time period in total viewers and was the #3 show of the night on the Big 4.

· From its first half-hour to its second, the rebroadcast "America's Got Talent" held steady or grew half-hour to half-hour in every key measure, including gains of +10% in adults 18-49 (1.0 to 1.1), +14% in adults 18-34 (0.7 to 0.8) and +25% in women 18-34 (0.8 to 1.0).

In Late-Night Metered Markets Wednesday Night:

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.2/5 with an encore telecast; "CBS Summer Showcase," 1.9/5 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.0/5.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.8/4 with an encore; "CBS Summer Showcase," 0.3/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.7/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.0/3 in metered-market households with an encore) tied CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.0/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.3/2 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1 with an encore).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.5/2 with an encore in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
