ABC Wins Sunday and Delivers Double-Digit Gains Week to Week

ABC is #1 on Sunday with Celebrity Family Feud as the Top TV Show in AD18-49

ABC Sunday Prime (7-11pm - 5.2 million and 1.2/4 in AD18-49): With Celebrity Family Feud and BattleBots, ABC ranked #1 on Sunday night in Adults 18-49 by 33% over its closest competition (1.2/4 vs. 0.9/3 - CBS and NBC tied). ABC grew week to week by double digits in Total Viewers (+16%) and Adults 18-49 (+20%).

· ABC's Celebrity Family Feud ranked as Sunday's #1 TV show in Total Viewers (8.6 million) and Adults 18-49 (2.1/8).

Celebrity Family Feud (8-9pm - 8.6 million and 2.1/8 in AD18-49): In the 8 o'clock hour, ABC's Celebrity Family Feud beat CBS' Big Brother 17 head to head by 2.8 million Total Viewers (8.6 million vs. 5.8 million) and by its biggest margin yet with Adults 18-49 (+11% - 2.1/8 vs. 1.9/7). Celebrity Family Feud built from its first half-hour to its second half-hour by 5% in Viewers and by 10% among young adults, while Big Brother declined on the half-hour in both Nielsen measures.

· Celebrity Family Feud shot up over the prior week by 21% in Total Viewers and 31% in Adults 18-49, earning its best numbers since its premiere 3 weeks ago - since 6/21/15.

· Up over the year-ago night for the 4th week running, Celebrity Family Feud grew over Wipeout (4.8 million and 1.4/5 on 7/13/14) by enormous double digits in Total Viewers (+79%) and Adults 18-49 (+50%).

BattleBots (9-10pm - 4.2 million and 1.3/4 in AD18-49): At 9pm, ABC's BattleBots won its hour in Total Viewers (4.2 million) and Adults 18-49 (1.3/4), ranking as the #1 series for the 4th straight week in the latter measure. The new ABC show was up week to week by 8% in Adults 18-49.

A note about DVR penetration: DVR penetration in the Nielsen sample is currently at 49% in U.S. TV Homes. More viewers are watching shows on their own timetables, which are increasingly not reflected in the overnight Live + Same Day numbers. As a result, the Live + 7 Day ratings are the most accurate measure to gauge the size of the TV audience.
