"I Am Cait" Series Premiere on Sunday Night Delivers Combined Audience of 7.7M Total Unique Viewers in L3s
Los Angeles, CA, July 31, 2015 - E!'s new documentary series, "I Am Cait, premiered Sunday, July 26 at 8pm as the most-watched unscripted series launch across all cable for 2015 among Total Viewers, P18-49 and W18-49. The series garnered a combined audience of 7.7M total unique viewers in L3s across its four airings on July 26. The L3 average for "I Am Cait" from 8-9pm had a +42% lift in total viewers over LS results delivering 3.9M, a +54% lift in P18-49 with 2.3M, and a +58% lift in W18-49 with 1.7M. The eight-episode, hour-long series ranks as E!'s 2ndbiggest launch in the network's history among Total Viewers and E!'s core A18-49 audience (since 2002) and biggest launch in network history among the highly-coveted W18-49 audience. I Am Cait ranked as the #1 program across all of cable for the night among P18-49 and W18-49.
Socially, "I Am Cait" delivered a 2M DAR + Twitter rating for the week of the premiere and the show ranked as the #1 original program on Sunday, July 26 in cross platform social engagements. "I am Cait" was also the #1 ranked cable reality program on Twitter the week leading up to premiere (source: ListenFirst). Additionally, "I Am Cait" has garnered more than 27M total video views on Facebook and Twitter.
"I Am Cait" tells Caitlyn Jenner's intimate story living her life as a transgender woman as she seeks out her "new normal."
