"LIFE IN PIECES" OPENS TO 11.5 MILLION VIEWERS - MONDAY'S MOST-WATCHED NEW PROGRAM AND CBS'S MOST-WATCHED MONDAY COMEDY PREMIERE SINCE 2011
"The Big Bang Theory" Tops Monday in Viewers and Key Demos
The series premiere of LIFE IN PIECES opened with 11.52 million viewers, Monday's most-watched new program, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Sept. 21.
At 8:30 PM, LIFE IN PIECES (P) debuted as CBS's most-watched Monday comedy premiere since 2011 (TWO BROKE GIRLS). In demos, LIFE IN PIECES averaged a strong 2.7/09 in adults 18-49 and a 3.8/10 among adults 25-54.
At 8:00 PM, the season premiere of THE BIG BANG THEORY averaged 17.78m, 4.5/16 in adults 18-49 and 6.3/18 in adults 25-54, ranking as the most-watched and highest-rated program of the night in key demos.
