"The League's" Seventh and Final Season Premiere Matches the Highest Ratings Of Any Original Telecast in FXX History

The premiere of the seventh and final season of The League generated the highest ratings of any original telecast on FXX among Adults 18-49 (1.17 million), putting it in a three-way tie for first place.

Based on Live+7 data, the September 9th premiere of Season 7 of The League matched the 1.17 million Adults 18-49 generated by the Season 5 premiere of The League in September 2013 - its first season on FXX - and the fourth episode of the 10th season of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. In addition, the Season 7 premiere of The League generated 1.32 million Total Viewers, making it the fifth most-watched telecast of any original series on FXX in terms of Total Views along with the Season 5 premiere of The League (1.32 million Total Viewers).

The League was created by the husband-and-wife team of Jeff Schaffer (Curb Your Enthusiasm, Seinfeld) and Jackie Marcus Schaffer (Disturbia, Eurotrip) who serve as executive producers and directors. The League features an ensemble cast with stars Katie Aselton, Mark Duplass, Nick Kroll, Jon Lajoie, Stephen Rannazzisi and Paul Scheer. The series is produced by FX Productions.
