ABC Wins Friday in Adults 18-49 - "Last Man Standing" Draws Biggest Audience in 8 Months

ABC Wins Friday in AD18-49 - Last Man Standing Draws Biggest Audience in 8 months

ABC Friday Prime (8-11pm - 6.0 million and 1.3/5 in AD18-49): ABC won Friday night in Adults 18-49 (ranking #1 in each half-hour), beating original lineups on CBS by 18% (1.3/5 vs. 1.1/4) and NBC by 63% (0.8/3). It was ABC's 5th straight week to straight-out lead the night or rank as the #1 non-sports net. The Net was up for the 2nd week in Total Viewers (+5%) and steady with young adults, marking its most-watched Friday overall this season.

· Growing 7% week to week in Adults 18-49 (1.5/6 vs. 1.4/5), ABC's Shark Tank was Friday's #1 series for the 5th week running. It addition, the show was up 9% in Total Viewers (6.3 million vs. 5.8 million) to deliver its 2nd most-watched telecast this season.

· With 100% young adult retention during the 8pm hour, Last Man Standing and Dr. Ken once again tied as Friday's #1 scripted series in Adults 18-49 (1.2/5-tied w/CBS' Blue Bloods). Both ABC comedies won their half hours and dominated the NBC comedy competition, with Dr. Ken doubling week 2 of NBC's Truth Be Told (+100% - 1.2/5 vs. 0.6/2). LMS was up 9% week to week to a new season high in Total Viewers (7.2 million vs. 6.6 million) for its most-watched telecast in 8 months - since 2/27/15. Dr. Ken advanced 3% in Total Viewers (6.0 million vs. 5.8 million) to its biggest audience since its debut (on 10/2/15).

· ABC's 20/20 ranked #1 at 10pm and was once again Friday's #1 newsmagazine in Adults 18-49 (1.2/5), outdelivering NBC's 2-hour Dateline by 33% (0.9/3 from 9-11pm). The ABC newsmagazine also topped Dateline in Total Viewers (+15% - 5.3 million vs. 4.6 million) and Adults 25-54 (+21% - 1.7/5 vs. 1.4/4).
