Monday's Broadcast Ratings: "The Voice," "Blindspot" Keep NBC on Top

Here are the highlights of the 11 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (11/2/15):

NBC (10.566 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.9, #1) was the top draw on Monday with new episodes of "The Voice" (11.868 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 3.2, #1) and "Blindspot" (7.961 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 2.2, #T2).

The silver then went to CBS (8.860 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.8, #2) with week two of "Supergirl" (8.853 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 2.2, #T2) followed by new episodes of "Scorpion" (9.390 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.9, #5) and "NCIS: Los Angeles" (8.337 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.2, #7).

Next up was ABC (10.136 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.7, #3) with a new "Dancing with the Stars" (12.438 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.0, #4) and the special "Countdown to the CMA Awards: Country's Greatest Crossover Hits with Robin Roberts" (5.533 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.0, #8).

Meanwhile, FOX (3.031 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.1, #4) offered up originals from "Gotham" (4.300 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.6, #6) and "Minority Report" (1.764 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.6, #9).

And finally, new episodes of "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" (0.977 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.3, #11) and "Jane the Virgin" (1.086 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.4, #10) on The CW (1.031 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.4, #5) closed out the evening.

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.6/7; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 2.0/5; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.1/5.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.9/5; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.7/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/5 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.4/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.0/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/2).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.9/4 in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.


Here are the highlights of the 12 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks one year ago (11/3/14):

NBC (10.976 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 3.1, #1) was once again Monday's demo champ thanks to new episodes of "The Voice" (11.852 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 3.4, #1) and "The Blacklist" (9.225 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 2.4, #T2).

CBS (8.934 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.9, #T2) and FOX (5.519 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.9, #T2) then split the silver as the latter served up new episodes of "Gotham" (6.550 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 2.4, #T2) and "Sleepy Hollow" (4.490 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.5, #T8).

Next up was the aforementioned Eye with originals from "2 Broke Girls" (7.961 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 2.2, #T4), "The Millers" (6.779 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.6, #7), "Scorpion" (10.300 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.2, #T4) and "NCIS: Los Angeles" (9.131 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.5, #T8).

Meanwhile, ABC (11.377 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.8, #4) offered up a new "Dancing with the Stars" (13.236 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.1, #6) plus its special "Countdown to the CMA Awards: 15 Songs that Changed Country Music with Robin Roberts" (7.657 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.3, #10).

And finally, new episodes of "The Originals" (1.298 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T11) and "Jane the Virgin" (1.417 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T11) closed out the evening on The CW (1.357 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.6, #5). In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), the "Originals" delivered a 0.6 rating while "Jane" posted a 0.6 rating.
