"Monday Night Football" Helps ESPN Win the Night among All Networks

ESPN's Monday Night Football - a Houston Texans' 10-6 victory over the previously unbeaten Cincinnati Bengals - helped ESPN win the night among all networks - broadcast or cable - in viewers, households and all key male and adult demos (18-34, 18-49 and 25-54). The game was the highest-rated program of the night in all key male and adult demos.

ESPN has won the night on all 10 Mondays this season among households and all key male and adult demos (nine of 10 weeks among viewers).

Texans-Bengals averaged a 7.7 US household rating and 12,185,000 viewers (P2+), according to Nielsen. The game peaked from 9:30-9:45 p.m. ET with an 8.7 rating and 13,817,000 viewers.

In Houston, the game delivered a 15.7 rating on ESPN and a 10.4 on KIAH-CW, for a combined 26.1 rating in the market. In Cincinnati, the game delivered a 15.6 rating on ESPN and a 29.0 on WLWT-NBC, for a combined 44.6 rating in the market.

The top 10 metered markets (not including those of the competing teams): Dayton (20.8), Columbus (13.5), Las Vegas (12.4), New Orleans (12.3), Jacksonville (11.9), Norfolk (11.6), Cleveland (11.5), Buffalo (11.4), San Diego (11.0) and Phoenix (10.9).

ESPN Deportes

The Spanish-language telecast of Texans-Bengals on ESPN Deportes averaged a 0.3 Hispanic Household rating with 51,000 Hispanic Household impressions and 75,000 Hispanic viewers (P2+). Season-to-date, MNF on ESPN Deportes is averaging a 0.3 Hispanic Household rating with 52,000 Hispanic Household impressions and 76,000 Hispanic viewers.

WatchESPN and ESPN Digital

Texans-Bengals on WatchESPN attracted an additional 174,000 average minute impressions to the TV audience, up 72 percent compared to last year's Week 10 MNF game. It also had 499,000 unique viewers watching 33,616,000 live minutes - up 59 percent and 60 percent, respectively.

The 2015 NFL season continues to drive record-breaking traffic across ESPN Digital platforms, logging its eighth best day ever on Sunday, Nov. 15 with an average minute audience of 1,066,000 people across platforms, up 22 percent compared to last year's Week 10 Sunday. Specifically, 42 percent of time spent with ESPN Digital properties on Sunday was with the ESPN Fantasy Football app, which attracted 6,501,000 unique visitors and an average minute audience of 444,000 - up 27 percent and 48 percent, respectively, compared to the previous year.

Additionally, ESPN.com, ESPN apps and WatchESPN across platforms logged 41,436,000 unique visitors on Sunday, up 5 percent year over year. NFL content specifically across digital platforms peaked at an average of 2,574,000 users during the average minute. Of Sunday's total NFL audience on digital platforms, 84 percent came from mobile devices.

This week, ESPN's MNF returns with Tom Brady and the undefeated New England Patriots hosting Rex Ryan and the Buffalo Bills at Gillette Stadium at 8:15 p.m. ET (kickoff at 8:30 p.m.).
