"Monday Night Football" Helps ESPN Win the Night among All Networks

ESPN's Monday Night Football - a New England Patriots' 20-13 victory over the Buffalo Bills, as Tom Brady and the Super Bowl champions remained undefeated (10-0) - helped ESPN win the night among all networks - broadcast or cable - in viewers, households and all key male and adult demos (18-34, 18-49 and 25-54). The game was the highest-rated program of the night in those same categories.

ESPN has won the night on all 11 Mondays this season among households and all key male and adult demos (10 of 11 weeks among viewers).

Bills-Patriots averaged an 8.9 US household rating and 14,256,000 viewers (P2+), according to Nielsen. The game peaked from 9:45-10 p.m. ET with a 10.2 rating and 16,502,000 viewers.

In Buffalo, the game delivered a 15.1 rating on ESPN and a 27.1 on WKBW-ABC, for a combined 42.2 rating in the market. In Boston, the game delivered a 10.9 rating on ESPN and a 31.5 on WMUR-ABC and WCVB-ABC, for a combined 42.4 rating in the market.

The top 10 metered markets (not including those of the competing teams): Providence (28.2), West Palm Beach (16.1), Hartford (16.0), Denver (13.8), Las Vegas (13.5), New Orleans (12.9), Charlotte (12.7), Phoenix (12.7), Jacksonville (12.6) and Ft. Myers-Naples (12.1).

ESPN Deportes

The Spanish-language telecast of Bills-Patriots on ESPN Deportes averaged a 0.3 Hispanic Household rating with 47,000 Hispanic Household impressions and 77,000 Hispanic viewers (P2+). Season-to-date, MNF on ESPN Deportes is averaging a 0.3 Hispanic Household rating with 51,000 Hispanic Household impressions and 76,000 Hispanic viewers (P2+).

WatchESPN and ESPN Digital

Bills-Patriots on WatchESPN attracted an additional 164,000 average minute impressions to the TV audience, up 77 percent compared to last year's Week 11 MNF game. It also had 670,000 unique viewers watching 37,987,000 live minutes - up 137 percent and 132 percent, respectively.

ESPN Digital Media had an average minute audience of 937,000 people across platforms, up 12 percent compared to last year's Week 11 Sunday. Specifically, 43 percent of time spent with ESPN Digital properties on Sunday was with the ESPN Fantasy Football app, which attracted 6,332,000 unique visitors and an average minute audience of 400,000 - up 25 percent and 42 percent, respectively, compared to the previous year.

Additionally, ESPN.com, ESPN apps and WatchESPN across platforms logged 37,930,000 unique visitors on Sunday. Of Sunday's total NFL audience on digital platforms, 81 percent came from mobile devices.

This Week on MNF: Baltimore Ravens vs. Cleveland Browns

This week, ESPN's MNF returns to Cleveland for the first time in six seasons when the Browns host the Baltimore Ravens at FirstEnergy Stadium at 8:15 p.m. ET (kickoff at 8:30 p.m.).
