Friday's Broadcast Ratings: CBS Tops Charts with "Hawaii Five-0" Season Finale

Here are the highlights of the 12 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (5/13/16):

CBS (7.645 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.1, #1) took home the top spot on Friday with the season finale of "The Amazing Race" (5.935 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T4), a new "Hawaii Five-0" (8.304 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.1, #3) and the season finale of "Hawaii Five-0" (8.697 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T1).

ABC (4.431 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.9, #2) then was the number two draw with its trio of "Beyond the Tank" (3.506 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T7), "Shark Tank" (5.215 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T1) and "20/20" (4.575 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T4).

Next up was NBC (3.469 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.7, #3) and its mix of "Caught on Camera with Nick Cannon" (2.949 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.6, #9), "Grimm" (3.326 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T7) and "Dateline NBC" (4.134 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.8, #6).

Meanwhile, FOX (1.720 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.4, #4) opted for the feature "Jumping the Broom" (1.720 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T10).

And finally, the season finale of "The Vampire Diaries" (1.080 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T10) plus a new "The Originals" (0.794 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.3, #12) on The CW (0.937 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #5) closed out the night.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.9/5; "Late Show," 0.3/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3 with an encore.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.3/4 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (0.9/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1 with an encore).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

ABC (6.225 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.4, #1) was the top draw on Friday thanks to the season finales of "Shark Tank" (6.927 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.5, #T1) and "Beyond the Tank" (6.251 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.5, #T1) plus a new "20/20" (5.497 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T3).

The silver then went to NBC (5.180 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #2) with the season finale of "Grimm" (4.740 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T3) and a two-hour "Dateline NBC" (5.400 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.9, #6).

Next up was CBS (5.201 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.8, #3) with the season finale of "The Amazing Race" (5.665 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #5) and a two-hour "ACM Presents: Superstar Duets" (4.970 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.7, #7).

Next up was FOX (1.476 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.5, #4) with the feature "Scream 2" (1.476 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.5, #8).

And finally, a new "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" (1.405 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T9), a repeat "Whose Line Is It Anyway?"
