Sunday's Broadcast Ratings: NBC Tops Demos in Tight Race with CBS

Here are the highlights of the 12 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (6/12/16):

NBC (4.955 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.5, #1) was the network to beat on Sunday with its duo of "Dateline NBC: On Assignment" (5.555 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T3) and the "Stanley Cup Finals, Game 6" (4.755 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.5, #2).

CBS (8.482 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.4, #2) then was a close second with "60 Minutes" (7.731 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T7) and "The 70th Annual Tony Awards" (8.732 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.6, #1).

Next up was ABC (4.774 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.1, #3) and repeats of "America's Funniest Home Videos" (4.251 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T7), another "America's Funniest Home Videos" (4.610 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.0, #6), "Celebrity Family Feud" (5.072 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T3) and a special "20/20: Massacre at the Nightclub - Terror in Orlando" (5.166 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T3).

And finally, FOX (1.207 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.5, #4) closed out the evening with the return of "Cooper Barrett's Guide to Surviving Life" (0.892 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T13), a second "Cooper Barrett's Guide to Surviving Life" (0.813 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T13) and repeats of "The Simpsons" (1.483 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.6, #10), "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" (1.261 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.5, #11), "Family Guy" (1.593 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.7, #9) and "The Last Man on Earth" (1.200 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.4, #12).
