ABC's Regular Tuesday Lineup Returns with Solid Results - SHIELD Draws Most Viewers Since Early October

· At 8pm, ABC's The Middle held even week to week in Adults 18-49 (1.6/6) to match a best-since-premiere number - since 10/11/16. In addition, the ABC veteran comedy improved its new half-hour year to year by 45% in Adults 18-49 (vs. a 1.1/4 for The Muppets on 12/1/15). The Middle beat Fox's Brooklyn Nine-Nine by 60% in the slot with Adults 18-49 (1.0/3).

· At 8:30pm, ABC's American Housewife held even with last week's Fast Affiliate Adult 18-49 rating (1.4/5), which adjusted up 1-tenth in the National ratings. Like its lead-in, the new ABC comedy grew its time slot for ABC from the year-ago night in Adults 18-49 (+8% vs. a 1.3/4 for Fresh Off the Boat on 12/1/15). American Housewife dominated Fox's New Girl by 75% in the half-hour in Adults 18-49 (0.8/3).

· At 9pm, ABC's Fresh Off the Boat returned steady with its last telecast 2 weeks ago in Adults 18-49 (1.2/4 vs. 1.3/4).
