Tuesday's Broadcast Ratings: "America's Got Talent" Dominates for NBC

Here are the highlights of the 16 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (6/6/17):

NBC (10.958 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.4, #1) was the network to beat once again on Tuesday with week two of "America's Got Talent" (12.178 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.6, #1) and "World of Dance" (8.519 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.9, #2).

CBS (5.770 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T2) then was a distant second with its mix of "NCIS" (6.785 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T3), "Bull" (5.726 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T5) and "48 Hours: NCIS" (4.800 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T9).

Next up was ABC (2.422 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T2) with a new "Downward Dog" (3.611 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T3) followed by repeats of "The Middle" (2.684 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T5), "Black-ish" (2.310 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T5), another "Black-ish" (2.171 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T5), "American Housewife" (2.064 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T9) and "Fresh Off the Boat" (1.693 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T9).

Meanwhile, FOX (1.556 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.4, #4) offered up repeats of "Lethal Weapon" (1.873 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T9), "The Mick" (1.322 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T13) and "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" (1.158 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T13).

And finally, a repeat "The Flash" (1.137 million viewers, #16; adults 18-49: 0.3, #16) and a new "iZombie" (1.173 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T13) combined to round out the night on The CW (1.155 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #5).

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.8/4; "Late Show," 0.4/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3 with an encore.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.0/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.2/4 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.2/4. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.4/3 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.3/2.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.


Here are the highlights of the 11 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks one year ago (6/7/16):

NBC (8.731 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.9, #1) held onto the top spot on Tuesday with new episodes of "America's Got Talent" (10.653 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.2, #1) and "Maya & Marty" (4.886 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.2, #4).

ABC (6.333 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.8, #2) then was a close second with special editions of "The Bachelorette" (6.700 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.0, #2) and "20/20 - The Bobby Brown Story: Every Little Step" (5.599 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.4, #3).
