3.23 Million Total Viewers In Live+3 For Premiere Telecast, Two Encores and Digital Viewing

Among The Top 5 Basic Cable Series Premieres Year-To-Date In Key Demos

LOS ANGELES - July 10, 2017 - Snowfall, FX's new drama series, premiered to solid ratings that put it among the top-five rated new cable drama series premieres of 2017 in several key demos.

On a Live+3 basis, the premiere telecast (7/5/17, 10:00-11:20 PM) delivered 1.30 million Adults 18-49 and 2.24 million Total Viewers. Adding in two encore telecasts for the night and digital viewership, Snowfall received 3.23 million Total Viewers.

Of the 30 cable drama series premieres year-to-date, the premiere telecast of Snowfall ranked in the Top 5 in Adults 18-49 (#4), Adults 18-34 (#4) and Adults 25-54 (#5).

Snowfall returns this Wednesday at 10 PM ET/PT on FX with Episode 2: "Make Them Birds Fly." Franklin struggles with the reality of his new enterprise. Teddy's distrust of Alejandro escalates. Gustavo confronts his new partners. Written by Dave Andron & Eric Amadio & John Singleton; directed by Adil Erbi & Bilall Fallah.

Created by John Singleton & Eric Amadio and Dave Andron, Snowfall is executive produced by Singleton, Amadio, Andron, Thomas Schlamme, Michael London and Trevor Engelson. Andron serves as showrunner.

Los Angeles 1983. A storm is coming and its name is crack. Snowfall is a one-hour drama set against the infancy of the crack cocaine epidemic and its ultimate radical impact on the culture as we know it. The story follows numerous characters on a violent collision course, including: Franklin Saint (Damson Idris), young street entrepreneur on a quest for power; Gustavo "El Oso" Zapata (Sergio Peris-Mencheta), a Mexican wrestler caught up in a power struggle within a crime family; Teddy McDonald (Carter Hudson), a CIA operative running from a dark past who begins an off-book operation to fund the Nicaraguan Contras and Lucia Villanueva (Emily Rios), the self-possessed daughter of a Mexican crime lord.
