Wednesday's Broadcast Ratings: FOX Holds Onto Adults 18-49 Crown

Here are the highlights of the 15 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (10/11/17):

FOX (5.220 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.7, #1) held onto the top spot on Wednesday with week three of "Empire" (5.856 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.9, #1) and "Star" (4.585 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 1.5, #4).

CBS (7.244 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T2) likewise remained the most-watched broadcaster with "Survivor: Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers" (7.919 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.6, #3), "SEAL Team" (7.884 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T7) and "Criminal Minds" (5.929 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T10).

Next up was ABC (5.062 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T2) and its lineup of "The Goldbergs" (5.605 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T5), "Speechless" (4.337 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T10), "Modern Family" (6.206 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.8, #2), "American Housewife" (5.030 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T5) and "Designated Survivor" (4.597 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T12).

Meanwhile, NBC (5.774 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.1, #4) served up new episodes from "The Blacklist" (5.630 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T12), "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (5.720 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T7) and "Chicago PD" (5.973 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T7).

And finally, the return of "Riverdale" (2.302 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.8, #14) and "Dynasty" (1.335 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.4, #15) on The CW (1.818 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.6, #5) closed out the night.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.5/3; "Late Show," 0.6/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.4/2.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.3/5 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.1/4. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.4/3 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.3/2.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

ABC (6.623 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.8, #2) then was the number two network with its mix of "The Goldbergs" (6.398 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.8, #T5), "Speechless" (5.994 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.8, #T5), "Modern Family" (7.454 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 2.4, #2), "Black-ish" (5.881 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.8, #T5) and "Designated Survivor" (7.006 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.6, #9).
