Thursday's Broadcast Ratings: "Thursday Night Football" Rises in NBC Victory

Here are the highlights of the 14 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (11/16/17):

NBC (9.525 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.7, #1) took home top honors last night with its coverage of "Thursday Night Football Pre-Game" (7.356 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.9, #4) and "Thursday Night Football" (9.958 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.8, #1).

CBS (8.716 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.5, #2) then was the silver draw with its mix of "The Big Bang Theory" (13.235 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.6, #2), "Young Sheldon" (11.740 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.1, #3), "Mom" (8.471 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.4, #6), "Life in Pieces" (6.414 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T7) and "SWAT" (6.218 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T9).

Next up was ABC (5.404 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.3, #3) and its fall finales from "Grey's Anatomy" (7.511 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.8, #5), "Scandal" (4.982 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T7) and "How to Get Away with Murder" (3.722 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T9).

Meanwhile, FOX (2.966 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.9, #4) offered up new episodes of "Gotham" (2.655 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T9) and "The Orville" (3.279 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T9).

And finally, originals from "Supernatural" (1.871 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.6, #13) and "Arrow" (1.297 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.5, #14) rounded out the night for The CW (1.584 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.6, #5).

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 ratings were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," delayed by an NFL overrun; "Late Show," 0.6/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.7/4.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," delayed by an NFL overrun; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.2/4. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," delayed by an NFL overrun; "Late Late Show," 0.3/3.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" was delayed by an NFL overrun.
