Monday's Broadcast Ratings: NBC, "The Voice" Hold Off Competition

Here are the highlights of the 14 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (12/18/17):

NBC (9.725 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.9, #1) took home top honors on Monday with a new "The Voice" (10.914 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.0, #1) followed by a sneak preview of "Ellen's Game of Games" (7.350 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.7, #2).

ABC (4.798 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #2) then was the number two draw with a new "The Great Christmas Light Fight" (4.759 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T4), the season finale of "The Great Christmas Light Fight" (4.487 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T4) and the special "The Year In Memoriam 2017" (5.149 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T6).

Next up was CBS (5.277 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.8, #3) and its 2017 finales for "Kevin Can Wait" (6.237 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.1, #3), "Man with a Plan" (5.519 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T6), "Superior Donuts" (5.007 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T8), "9JKL" (4.268 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.7, #10) and "Scorpion" (5.316 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T8).

Meanwhile, FOX (1.613 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.4, #4) opted for repeats of "Lucifer" (1.870 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T11) and "The Gifted" (1.356 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T11).

And finally, The CW (0.532 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.1, #5) closed out the night with its specials "Popstar's Best of 2017" (0.629 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.2, #13) and "The Hollywood Walk of Fame Honors 2017" (0.436 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.1, #14).

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.8/5; "Late Show," 0.3/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3 with an encore.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.5/5 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 0.9/3 with an encore. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.5/4 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.2/1 with an encore.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

NBC (8.485 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.7, #1) was still the network to beat on Monday with its special presentations of "America's Got Talent: Holiday Spectacular" (9.485 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.8, #1) and "The Wall" (6.485 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.6, #2).

CBS (7.489 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.2, #2) then was the silver draw with its mix of "First Lady Michelle Obama Says Farewell to the White House: An Oprah Winfrey Special" (9.386 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.3, #3), "Man with a Plan" (6.182 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.1, #8), "2 Broke Girls" (5.072 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T4) and "Scorpion" (7.455 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T4).
