Friday's Broadcast Ratings: CBS Holds Onto Top Spot with Dramas

Here are the highlights of the 12 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (4/6/18):

CBS (7.769 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.8, #1) was the network to beat on Friday with new episodes of "MacGyver" (6.709 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T2), "Hawaii Five-0" (7.902 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.9, #1) and "Blue Bloods" (8.696 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T2).

Second place then went to NBC (4.133 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T2) with a special earlier "Taken" (3.032 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T9) and a two-hour "Dateline NBC" (4.684 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.7, #5).

Sharing the silver was FOX (2.610 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T2) with a new "MasterChef Junior" (3.524 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T2) plus a repeat "The Resident" (1.696 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T9).

Meanwhile, ABC (2.219 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.5, #4) served up fresh installments of "Once Upon a Time" (2.246 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T6), "Marvel's Agents of SHIELD" (2.044 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T6) and "20/20" (2.369 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T6).

And finally, originals from "Dynasty" (0.739 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T11) and "Jane the Virgin" (0.560 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T11) on The CW (0.649 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.2, #5) rounded out the night.
