Wednesday's Broadcast Ratings: FOX Dramas Hold Onto Demo Crown

Here are the highlights of the 15 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (4/25/18):

FOX (4.548 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.4, #1) was the demo champ on Wednesday thanks to fresh installments from "Empire" (5.262 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.6, #T1) and "Star" (3.835 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.2, #3).

CBS (6.539 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.0, #2) then was the silver draw with its lineup of "Survivor: Ghost Island" (7.754 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.6, #T1), "SEAL Team" (6.306 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T4) and the return of "Code Black" (5.557 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T6).

Next up was NBC (4.109 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.7, #3) with a new "The Blacklist" (5.217 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T4) followed by repeats of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (3.478 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T11) and "Chicago PD" (3.631 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T6).

Meanwhile, ABC (3.153 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.6, #4) offered up a repeat "The Goldbergs" (3.531 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T6), a new "Alex, Inc." (2.969 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T6), a repeat "Modern Family" (3.196 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T6), a second "Alex, Inc." (2.482 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T11) and "Designated Survivor" (3.370 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.5, #13).

And finally, new episodes of "Riverdale" (1.154 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T14) and "The Originals" (1.038 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T14) rounded out the night on The CW (1.096 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.4, #5).

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.4/3; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.0/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.2/4 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.1/4. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.3/3 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.2/1.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.6/3 in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

CBS (6.595 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T2) then claimed the total viewers crown with its trio of "Survivor: Game Changers" (8.394 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.7, #2), "Criminal Minds" (6.798 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T4) and "Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders" (4.592 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T12).

Next up was ABC (4.750 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T2) with originals from "The Goldbergs" (5.244 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.4, #3), "Speechless" (4.482 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T4), "Black-ish" (4.373 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T4), another "Black-ish" (4.203 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T4) and "Designated Survivor" (5.099 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T8).

Meanwhile, NBC (5.326 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.1, #4) offered up new episodes from "Blindspot" (4.463 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.9, #11), "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (5.280 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T8) and "Chicago PD" (6.235 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T8).
