Wednesday's Broadcast Ratings: FOX Continues Demo Win Streak

Here are the highlights of the 15 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (5/2/18):

FOX (4.566 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.4, #1) was the demo champ for the ninth consecutive week with fresh installments from "Empire" (5.252 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.7, #1) and "Star" (3.881 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T4).

The silver then went to NBC (5.935 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.1, #2) with originals from "The Blacklist" (5.473 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T10), "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (6.271 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T4) and "Chicago PD" (6.061 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T4).

Next up was CBS (6.268 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.0, #3) and its trio of "Survivor: Ghost Island" (7.768 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.5, #2), "SEAL Team" (5.934 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T8) and "Code Black" (5.104 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.7, #12).

Meanwhile, ABC (3.944 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.9, #4) offered up its mix of "The Goldbergs" (4.887 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T4), "Alex, Inc." (3.225 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T10), "Modern Family" (4.651 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.3, #3), "American Housewife" (3.746 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T8) and "Designated Survivor" (3.578 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.6, #13).

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.1/4 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.2/4. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.3/3 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.2/2.
