Saturday's Broadcast Ratings: NBC Edges the Competition in Viewers, Demos

Here are the highlights of the 10 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (7/21/18):

NBC (3.289 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.5, #1) was the network to beat on Saturday with its telecasts of "Little Big Shots" (2.743 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T4) and "Dateline Saturday Night Mystery" (3.562 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.5, #1).

FOX (2.099 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.4, #2) then was a close second with its coverage of "FOX Sports Saturday Presents Major League Baseball" (2.099 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T2).

Next up was ABC (1.912 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.3, #3) with repeats of "America's Funniest Home Videos" (2.660 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T2) and "Truth and Lies: The Menendez Brothers - American Sons, American Murderers" (1.538 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T4).

And finally, CBS (1.272 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.2, #4) offered up its remaining installments of "Me, Myself & I" (1.255 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T6), another "Me, Myself & I" (1.019 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T6), yet another "Me, Myself & I" (0.988 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T6) and "Living Biblically" (0.990 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T6) plus a repeat "48 Hours" (1.690 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T6).

NBC (2.534 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T1) was the top draw on a modest Saturday with an encore of "American Ninja Warrior" (2.125 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T3) plus a new "Dateline Saturday Night Mystery" (3.352 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.6, #1).

FOX (1.637 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T1) then shared in the demo honors with its coverage of "UFC on FOX" (1.637 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.5, #2).

Next up was ABC (1.920 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.3, #3) with repeats of "America's Funniest Home Videos" (2.601 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T3) and "20/20: In an Instant" (2.220 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T3) plus a new "Still Star-Crossed" (0.941 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T7).

And finally, a new "Doubt" (1.943 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T7), a second "Doubt" (1.818 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T7) and a repeat "48 Hours" (2.704 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.3, #6) on CBS (2.155 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.2, #4) rounded out the night.
