Friday's Broadcast Ratings: FOX, "Last Man Standing" Take Home Demo Honors

Here are the highlights of the 12 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (11/2/18):

FOX (3.870 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.9, #1) edged out the demo competition on Friday with new episodes from "Last Man Standing" (6.026 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.1, #1), "The Cool Kids" (4.230 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T2) and "Hell's Kitchen" (2.613 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.7, #6).

CBS (7.486 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.8, #2) then was a close second with its mainstays "MacGyver" (6.090 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T4), "Hawaii Five-0" (7.794 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T2) and "Blue Bloods" (8.574 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T4).

Next up was ABC (2.516 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.5, #3) with originals from "Fresh Off the Boat" (2.953 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.6, #7), "Speechless" (2.502 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T8) and "Child Support" (2.284 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T8) plus a repeat "20/20" (2.536 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T11).

Meanwhile, NBC (2.419 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.4, #4) served up its mix of "Blindspot" (2.429 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T11), "Midnight, Texas" (1.958 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T11) and "Dateline NBC" (2.869 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T8).

And finally, The CW (0.535 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.1, #5) rounded out the evening with new episodes of "Dynasty" (0.598 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.2, #14) and "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" (0.472 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.1, #15).

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.5/3; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.4/2 with an encore.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers,"1.0/3 in metered-market households with an encore; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.2/4 with an encore. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.3/2 in 18-49 with an encore; "Late Late Show," 0.2/1 with an encore.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.6/2 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.1/1 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

CBS (8.250 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T1) was the most-watched broadcaster on Friday with its dramas "MacGyver" (7.158 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T4), "Hawaii Five-0" (8.506 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T2) and "Blue Bloods" (9.089 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T2).

NBC (4.754 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T1) however shared in the demo honors with "Blindspot" (3.463 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.7, #6) and "Dateline NBC" (5.399 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.0, #1).

Next up was FOX (2.317 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.7, #3) with fresh installments of "Hell's Kitchen" (3.095 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T4) and "The Exorcist" (1.539 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T7).

Meanwhile, ABC (2.298 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.5, #4) offered up originals from "Once Upon a Time" (2.357 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T7), "Marvel's Inhumans" (1.985 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T7) and "20/20" (2.552 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T7).
