Wednesday's Broadcast Ratings: FOX, "The Masked Singer" Top Demo Race

Here are the highlights of the 16 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (1/9/19):

FOX (5.285 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.7, #1) was the demo champ on Wednesday thanks to week two of "Gordon Ramsay's 24 Hours to Hell and Back" (3.513 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 1.1, #7) and "The Masked Singer" (7.056 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.3, #1).

NBC (7.873 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.2, #2) then was the silver draw with originals from "Chicago Med" (8.639 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T2), "Chicago Fire" (8.077 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T2) and "Chicago PD" (6.905 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T8).

Next up was ABC (3.827 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.0, #3) and its new lineup of "The Goldbergs" (5.133 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T2), "Schooled" (4.771 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T2), "Modern Family" (4.836 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T2), "Single Parents" (3.104 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T11) and "Match Game" (2.559 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.6, #14).

Meanwhile, CBS (5.365 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.9, #4) opted for repeats of "The Big Bang Theory" (6.445 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T8) and "Young Sheldon" (5.591 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.9, #10) followed by originals from "SEAL Team" (5.535 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T11) and "Criminal Minds" (4.541 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T11).

And finally, second runs of "All American" (0.533 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.1, #T15) and another "All American" (0.431 million viewers, #16; adults 18-49: 0.1, #T15) on The CW (0.482 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.1, #5) rounded out the night.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.1/4 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.2/5. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.3/3 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.1/1.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
